„Take A Big Jump“ entstand in Kooperation von Ironcold und Ayuma.
Ironcold stellte mir vor einiger Zeit ein paar tolle Gitarren-Riffs vor. Diese inspirierten mich sofort zu einer dazu passenden Gesangslinie, und ich hatte auch gleich eine Idee für einen Text im Kopf.
Somit machte ich mich umgehend daran, sowohl den Text als auch die Gesangslinie zu entwickeln und einzusingen.
Im Anschluß daran spielte Harry alle Instrumente ein und produzierte den Song, so dass wir ihn heute vorstellen können.
Der Song handelt von desillusionierten jungen Männern, die als Gang nachts durch die Straßen ziehen.
In dem Glauben, dass sie in dieser Gesellschaft ohnehin keine Chance hätten, entscheiden sie sich für den vermeintlich leichteren Lebensweg, der aus Gewalt, Aggression und Alkohol besteht und von dem sie sich Respekt erhoffen - doch am Ende erkennen sie, dass dieser Weg eine Sackgasse ist, der ihnen im Endeffekt jede Zukunftsperspektive nimmt.
Und so verlassen einige von ihnen den Weg der Gewalt, benutzen stattdessen Ihren Kopf und beweisen sich und den anderen, dass Sie die Kraft und den Willen haben, es besser zu machen.

"Take A Big Jump" was created in cooperation by Ironcold and Ayuma.
Ironcold came up with a great guitar lick some time ago. It immediately inspired me to develop a vocal line as well as drawing up corresponding lyrics.
Subsequently Harry recorded all instruments and produced the song so that we can release it today.
"Take A Big Jump" is about disillusioned young men, building gangs and roaming the streets at night.
Believing that they would have no chance in this society anyway, they have chosen a supposedly easier way of life, which consists of violence, aggression and alcohol, from which they hope to gain respect - but in the end they realise that this way is a dead end which deprives them of any future perspective.
And so some of them leave the path of violence, start using their brains instead and prove to themselves and others that they have the strength and the will to do better and change their ways.
